Precise X-Rays determine the condition of your cervical vertebrae

The Value of precise cervical X-Rays

In order to know how to correct the problem, it is necessary to x-ray the bone structures.

Let me take a brief detour to tell you a little story that's true.

I have a friend who has had back surgery. While I love him, he has not met a prescription drug he thinks he doesn't need or a Doctor's analysis he thinks isn't right.

That's right, in Rick's eyes, the MD's can do no wrong, even if they appear to be wrong. Many of his friends, me included advised him to seek other opinions and try more holistic approaches such as passive exercise and stretching.

Back Surgery was not his friend

Rick believed in exercise and stretching but never did them and of course, kept visiting his MD. Rick was miserable.

Rick's wife had been seeing a Chiropractor for years and he had really helped her. She had been trying to convince him to visit her Chiro for years but was met with fierce resistance by Rick. "I refuse to see a quack", Rick said.

I'm not sure how but she finally talked Rick into visiting the good Dr..

I cannot understand to this day why my collegue did this but without X-Rays he adjusted Rick's middle back without first taking a look at what was going on. The results were not good.

He was in masive pain immediately, the Chiropractor said it would subside within the next few days and to call him if it did not. It never did and Rick never went back. In fact, Rick was in agony most days thereafter until he decided to have the surgery.

The surgery seemed to be a great success. Rick was happlily pain free after his initial recovery. Several months into his new life the spasms began to come back and Rick is back to square one; in pain and not willing to do anything about it because he believes what he's told by a drug salesman.

Back to the value of precise X-Rays

In order for me to correct the problem, and over 90% of the time I can, it is necessary to x-ray your bone structures. Absolutely necessary. The condition which is causing the problem is too small to be seen or felt on the surface of the skin. This condition is termed subluxation or misaligned vertabra.

Our x-ray equipment is installed and aligned with the utmost accuracy in order to produce precise radiographs of your vertabrae, thus the mis-alignment can be measured exactly.

This is so important and only ensures the success of your adjustment.

Precise placement of the patient is very important during this phase. You are never exposed to high levels of radiation.

Expert analysis of the X-Rays

With skill that is only developed through years of specialized training and practice, special instruments are used to analyze your x-rays. These instruments make it possible to measure the position of the spine to within 0.25 degrees.

If Rick had had this done I'm sure he would not have had the reaction he did to his adjustment and most likely, would've been helped.

I will not touch you unless I know exactly what your condition is and how to fix it.

In my next post I'll explain to you the line of correction and how just one to a few cervical vertabrae decide whether you're going to have a straight spine or a crooked one. And that of course, may decide whether you have a good or poor quality of life.

But of course, I can change that!
